If your Windows is correctly running on the external hdd: good. IMPORTANT: copy the installation files to your data partition, because of the problem I´m going to explain now. I did only download some basic tools: Firefox, Avira Anti-Virus Free, Steam and O&O ShutUP (Anti-Spy-Setting for Windows O&O ShutUp10: Das kostenlose Antispy-Tool für Windows 10). The main difference to me is that if anything goes wrong on my system, I will be able to easily reinstall Windows and the apps (firefox, antispy, antivirus and steam itself) in short time. This is important, because it is not a productive system for Office applications etc. I will add here what was my initial goal: To have an external hdd for all my steam games. To me, the price was acceptable, because I didn´t find any further software that helped me to do what I wanted to do. This might not be a good solution for users with a MacBook that has only limited space on its internal hdd.
